It's wide enough to cover the edges of the biggest Fulcrum tremolo cavities like the famous "Floyd Void". These are huge recessed fulcrum cavities used for counter-sunk systems like the FR Lo Pro and FR Lo Pro Edge. The 5005 adapter plate can be akin to taking a piece of plywood and covering a big hole in the ground so you wont fall in, you simply lay the plate with flat mount tremolo or fixed bridge over the fulcrums deep abyss, screw it in place, effectively covering the gap and adding you some awesome resonance. That somewhat makes up for all that lost wood that was removed by FR routers during the building process.
Adapts Kahler, Wilkinson, Floyd Rose or a Fender fulcrum route so you are able to adapt a new Kahler flat mounting CAM system such as the Pro, Hybrid or X-Trem models to your guitar. The 5005 is made for any fulcrum tremolo that is recessed into the guitar body and does not rest above the body top.
